windows alienware minor fixes
you've installed alienware and are now at your desktop. so we need to perform a few minor tasks/tweeks to get it running
1 - right click on taskbar and select 'properties'. Open the dropdown box titled 'taskbar buttons'
set it too ' always combine, hide labels'. Click apply and exit it. Done. ( this changes it to normal windows 7 superbar)
2 - go to start menu, open 'documents', go to 'organise' tap near top of window, select'folder and search options'>>select 'veiw',>> select 'dont show hidden files, folders and drives>>click apply. done.(this hides system files that should not be in veiw anyway)
3 - go to start menu, type 'services', from the list that appears, select the cog like icon labeled 'services' and open it, when the window opens, scroll down to 'security center' and right click it and select 'properties'. open the dropdown box labeled 'start up type', and set it to 'automatic'
Click apply and ok. done. (this sets all your security such as antivirus etc to auto start as soon as you boot your machine)
4- go to windows update in controll pannel>>on the left of page select ' change settings', set it too, notify but dont download or install without asking'. Now do a check for updates, once the updates are available, look down the list for an update called KB971033, it will be unticked, you need to tick this as we will use this update to make windows genuine in a minute. now install the updates , also in the optional updates list check to see if its found any driver updates etc and tick those too and install
once updates are in, restart computer
5- now open the loader i sent you and just click the 'install button', a pop up will appear, just click ok, now wait for about a minute while it dose its work, another pop up will appear saying ' loader and certifficate successfully aplied, restart your computer.' >click ok an reboot
windows is now activated
6- to validate windows through MS, goto this link , NB..as soon as you open this link, validation process will begin on whatever windows you are currently running, with alienware os, it will pass validation wether activated or not.

another alternative AFTER you crack it. go to start, search, type "activate" and select the activate windows link.. it will tell you if its valid (if you have cracked it correctly)
